We’ve been waiting a little while for these guys to drop through, but they finally made it today and it was definitely worth the wait, as we scored a couple of new Surly brews and a case each of two rarities from 903…check it out!
Surly Hell-“Dorit Ansari is from Germany. Omar Ansari is her son. He has a brewery. She wanted a beer that reminded her of home. This is that beer. Hell is a pale-gold lager not unlike the zwickelbiers popular in Dorit’s hometown of Bremen. It’s not filtered and it’s brewed with lager yeast. You can expect bready malt aromas and flavors, floral hops, and a balanced finish. BTW: The name is a reference to the German word for “light”, not Satan’s nefarious kingdom, so you don’t have to sell your soul for another.”
$7.99/4pk pint cans
Surly Before I Die Lager-“Crisp and crushable, Before I Die lager centers an approachable balance of hops and malt. It’s the beer you’ve been waiting for your whole life.”
903 Kilt Switch Wee Heavy-Big, bold, bad Wee Heavy Scotch-style ale. 10.8% abv.
903 Pretzel Day Stout Variety 4pk-2 cans each of Pretzel Day (The Works) and Two Pretzel Stout. For fans of The Office and stout lovers alike!
We only managed to get a case of each of these, so grab ’em while they’re here!
