Tilquin Lambic 9pk-This is, hands-down, one of the coolest lambic offerings I’ve ever seen hit Columbia. Granted, we also have a bottle of Cantillon on hand, but this type of stuff just doesn’t show up in the middle of the state very often. This is an ultra-limited (our rep had one pack to allocate!) mixed 9-pack of flavored lambics with some really interesting ingredients. Several include wine grapes (Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Riesling).
Others include fruits (Mirabelle plum, mixed berries, blackcurrant, and elderberry). We thought about breaking this set up and letting people buy one at a time, but it seemed a shame to separate ’em. If we can’t sell them as a set, we may do this in the future, but this presents an awesome tasting opportunity for anyone who likes traditional Belgian lambic. Oh, and it’d be a pretty cool bottle share with friends, no?
