Not only have y’all been waiting patiently for this for a long time, it could not have hit on a more perfect day. I think we get like two or three ideal spring days like this every year, so it was good to see a lot of you out and about today. It was fantastic weather to grab a few brews on your patio or porch with friends or family and soak up the sun. But for those of you who didn’t know, Yuengling is FINALLY here! Check it out!
The Pottsville, PA brewery that lays claim to the title of America’s Oldest Brewery has a fiercely-loyal support base on the East Coast and much further afield as well. For years I’ve heard of y’all trucking this stuff back by the case at any and all opportunities to bring it back from a business trip, vacation, Cousin Vinnie’s wedding, etc. For that matter, I think the last time I had it was at my best mate’s wedding out in North Carolina, some 13 years ago now. While the regional craft brewery is still very much a part of the US beer industry today, breweries like Yuengling, and the history they represent, are a dying breed…it’s a welcome addition to our shelves! Here’s what we’ve got for ya…

Yuengling Flight-“Raise the Bar® with the Next Generation of Light Beer®. FLIGHT by Yuengling is easy-drinking, clean, crisp, and refreshing. FLIGHT is only 95 calories, 2.6g carbs, 4.2 ABV (alcohol by volume).” 4.2% abv, 95 calories, and 2.6 grams carbs
Come check ’em out…the beer’s pretty darn tasty (I’ll have my tasting notes up in a couple of days here or whenever I actually get a chance to sit down and put pen to paper) and the value is excellent. There’s a lot of American Macro Lagers out there, but not a lot that are still American-owned and very few that have this much flavor!
